What should you charge for a Reel?

Enter your Instagram handle. We read the views on your recent Reels and work out a fair price from what brands pay per view across the 37 creators with rate cards on the SocialBridge roster — then show your full rate chart.

Your city changes your rate. Brands pay creators differently from city to city, so we compare you with creators near you. Allow location when your browser asks.

How it works

  1. 01

    Your views

We take the median views of your recent Reels, leaving out ones still collecting views.

  2. 02

    Price per view

We multiply by what brands pay per view (CPV) on our roster — for your city and niche when there's enough data.

  3. 03

    Size check

We compare with what creators of your size charge, so one viral month can't run away with it.

Questions

How exactly do you calculate my rate?

+

In four steps, from the real Reel prices of the 37 creators with rate cards on the SocialBridge roster.

1. Your usual views. We read your most recent Reels and take the median views — the middle Reel, not the average — leaving out Reels less than 3 days old that are still collecting views.

2. Price by views. We work out what brands pay per view (CPV) on our roster: each creator's Reel price divided by their usual views, and the median of those. We use the closest group with at least 3 creators — same city and niche first, then same city, then same niche, then the whole roster. Your views × that CPV is your views rate.

3. Price by size. We fit a line through what creators of every follower count charge on the roster, adjusted a little for your niche. That gives the market rate for your follower count.

4. The blend. Your suggested price leans 60% on the views rate and 40% on the market rate, then is kept between 0.6× and 1.8× of the market rate so one viral Reel or a quiet month can't swing it too far. It is rounded to the nearest ₹1,000 (₹500 below ₹5,000), never goes under ₹500, and the range shown is 30% either side.

Why do you ask for my city?

+

Because brands pay creators differently from city to city — a creator in a metro usually charges more than one with the same numbers in a smaller town. Your city comes from your location. When we have at least 3 priced creators from your city, your price per view comes from them; when we don't yet, we use the whole roster and tell you so on your result.

What do you do with my location?

+

Your browser asks before sharing it. We work out your city from it and we save it with your check — the coordinates and the address details for that point (area, city, district, state and PIN code). Our team uses it to compare you with creators near you and to match you with brand campaigns in your area. The calculator needs it to give you a rate; if you'd rather not share it, you can still join the roster and we'll work out your rate card with you. See our privacy policy for more.

How are Story, UGC and the other prices worked out?

+

From your Reel price, with the ratios we use on our own creators' rate cards: Collaboration Reel 1.2×, UGC 0.8×, Video Story 0.35×, Story 0.25×, Reshare 0.2×. Ad rights are charged per month on top of the post — 0.45× for organic use and 0.9× for running it as a Meta ad.

Is this the price I will get?

+

It is a fair starting price, not a promise. Your content, your audience's city and age, your niche, the brand and the deal itself — usage rights, exclusivity, deadlines — all move the final number. Treat the range as where most deals land.

Why does it use my median views and not my average?

+

One viral Reel can make your average look far bigger than what a normal post does. Brands plan on what a typical post gets, so the calculator does too.

What happens to my details?

+

Looking up a handle only reads public numbers. If you unlock the full chart we keep your name and WhatsApp number so our team can tell you about brand campaigns that fit you; ask us any time and we will stop.

Does it work for YouTube?

+

Not yet — it covers Instagram Reels, Stories, UGC and ad rights for now.
